EatMatrix carries no advertising. No brand can pay to appear in a scan result, a verdict or an article.

A verdict comes from what EFSA, the FDA and WHO/JECFA concluded about an additive. No manufacturer can pay to change it, and every flag links to the opinion behind it.
Your data stays yours
Scans and account data are used to run the app for you. We do not sell them, and we never share them with brands.

EatMatrix is paid for by the people who use it. Revenue comes from subscriptions, never from the companies whose products we scan.

Every ingredient is matched against our database of 356 additives, with the published EFSA, FDA and WHO/JECFA evaluations attached.
The most cautious regulator wins
When regulators disagree, the verdict follows the most cautious position, and the source is one tap away.
267 of 356 additives carry a published regulator evaluation today. The rest are shown as "not yet rated", never guessed.
